Job Title:  Credentialing Specialist

 

Responsible for credentialing physicians, ancillaries and hospitals for Health Plans, PPO and Workers’ Compensation.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

• Credential physicians, ancillaries, and hospitals
• Research and obtain required provider information
• Manage and update provider database
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements Include:

 

• General understanding of the health care industry
• Some knowledge of managed care policy
• Good communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel

Job Title:  Provider Contractor

 

Responsible for recruiting and negotiating contracts with physicians, ancillaries and hospitals for Health Plans, PPO and Workers’ Compensation.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

• Negotiate contracts with physician, ancillary, and hospital
• Assist department personnel in resolving contract disputes related to claims inquiry
• Develop and generates appropriate reports
• Manage and update provider database
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements include:

 

• Minimum 2-4 years experience as a Provider Contracting Representative
• Thorough understanding of the health care industry
• Substantive knowledge of managed care policy
• Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, DRG and HCPC codes
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Polished verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management
• Knowledge of Access and Microsoft Office Word, Excel
